About me - Julie Hume

About me

Hi there,

Thank you for dropping by. I wonder what you would like to know?

I was born in Scotland rather a long time ago, and am often surprised by that strange women who looks back at me from the mirror. Going by the crow's feet, I guess she's had an interesting life and should be proud of those marks of experience.

But I am not. Inside I am still the woman I was at 30 and I resent time showing and leaving these marks upon me.

I left Scotland at 18 and landed in Hong Kong, where I stayed for 15 years. I lived in Thailand for the 3 following that and then moved to my current home of Tenerife.

Doctors had given my chances at ever carrying a child to term as slim to none, but this little volcanic island has healed and helped many people before me. My two beautiful children were born here and now attend a Spanish school and run rings round their mother with their linguistic gymnastics.

I am a webmaster and seo consultant who is just entering the world of writing online and revenue share. I find it most enjoyable if not yet particularly lucrative.

I can be found at Triond under the name JCHume and also on at Factoidz.

Many of the people involved in the birth of the internet are long since retired - even expired - and still there seems to be this old/young debate going on. As if the Internet is somehow the unique province of those under thirty. Everything that the internet can do for the young, it can do for the elderly and then some. Many of ...
