There are professional photographers who call themselves amateur photographers. They do not see themselves as a professional photographers because they believe that they still have a lot to learn. I have worked for the Liverpool Museum. I trained women in basic photography. I have exhibited my work in many popular galleries around the NW of England, but I wouldn't dare call myself a professional. Of course to sell, network and make money, professional is the key word.
