one big blank square slate of a paragraph in which to share. can i condense myself into this space so that you might sense a bit of me? aside from age or face or shade? i am a traveler, living in tents, in hope of one day being a part of a city whose foundations are being laid and built by God. the city of my life right now is much a tent; i have been broken down to a simple frame that i might be built upon - and where my destination may be i know not. i am a smiler, a feeler, (and a thinker too). i look for hope where there is none, and i experience joy in contagious bursts. i cherish organization and i love spontaneity. i am a pleaser learning to say no. i am a Christian learning to say so... at least in how i love and live. words in faith are secondary. i save capital letters for special occasions, and i guess, for now in Helium articles, though i've never been one to bow to grammer - i like sentences that begin with and! i thrive to create to arrange to adorn; with grace or notes or things or words i find release i find my place i finally connect i find some peace.

'm not sure exactly when hiking the Appalachian Trail became a goal of mine, i just know its been on my "to do" list for at least 4 years. I think i read a book or saw a movie and it got stuck in my head... every once and awhile people would see my list and question "the whole trail!?"... i'd usually shrug nah, that i just wanted to experience a piece of it, but hey maybe... you never know. Wasn't sure I had the will or the guts, though I think I might. Really i just can't imagine affording the opportunity to do the whole thing... time and money seem always at such a premium.
