About me - Lisa H. Warren

aboutme

"Writing isn't always about just getting the words down or out or even read. It is about pulling from the universe just the right number and combination of words and allowing them to join hands to come to life."
_____________________________________________________

Residing in New England, I'm a freelance writer who writes on assignment. In a previous life I worked in a corporate environment at a high-tech company, where responsibilities in Corporate Planning, Advanced Technologies, and Infectious Diseases, ranged from program coordination to market studies. Newspaper experience includes straight news and weekly features.

More recently, I've been writing articles and other material on assignment.

I'm the mother of two grown sons and a daughter in college.

When I'm not writing for someone else I write for myself. Writing is my form of playing. Words and punctuation are, to me, like Lego building blocks. I can select any number of different ones, put them together in any number of ways, and discover I have built something that, ideally, has color and is beyond two-dimensional.

There will always even be people who are neither pessimists nor enemies, but who have resentment and/or distrust of success, wealth, and achievement. These people, too, will not want to believe that the United States, as a nation, will or can survive.
