Many methods and theories have been developed about how to abolish poverty. There are flaws in many of the discussions based on a misconceptions regarding how and why poverty occurs and how to fix it. Misconception #1 Education will raise people out of poverty. There is a fundamental problem with this idea. If you educate all of the poor people living in a certain city or state, who will work in all the part-time and minimum wage jobs?
