I'm a 21 year old female living in Northern Michigan, leaving me much time to read and write, my two main loves in life, other than my bunny Foofers. I play guitar and am into the punk rock music scene, and on the side I paint. I am unemployed at the moment but looking for something as an office assistant. At least somewhere in a clean environment. I plan to attend college in fall of 2007 to major in English, psychology, or English. I haven't quite figured that out yet. I'm single, with no kids, and yes, I'm looking for Mr. Right.
My passion is ...
Definitely writing.
I know too much about ...
music. Everything from 50's to present day.
My parents always told me ...
You don't always get what you want, but you get what you need. Didn't the Rolling Stones say that too?
My childhood ambition ...
was to be an artist first, but then in third grade I decided a writer was better fitted.
My favorite memory ...
oddly enough is one of my ex-boyfriend and best friend at the beach with me, playing Frisbee.
Why I write ...
Ahhh, I find it relieves some stress and also gets my opinions out without having to speak so much, or tell people what I really think of them.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I am reading "Little Earthquakes" by Jennifer Weiner and listening to Box Car Racer at the moment.
My first job ...
I worked at McDonald's when I was 15 for three months as an after school job.
My best moment ...
My best moments, actually, are the ones I make a complete fool of myself. Gives me more to blog about.
My inspiration ...
Most of my inspiration comes from daily life and my friends' lives. It's something I know about, so I can write about it well and with accuracy.
How to be emo...? Good question. And yet, there is no REAL answer behind this, because there are so many different visions and opinions on what is "emo" and what is just "depressed and suicidal". Or what could also be the "scene emo", usually pertaining to the music they like and lifestyle they lead. Being as I myself have been labeled an emo kid, I have an idea of where most of the stereotyping comes from. It's based on a look you have and the moods you project publicly to the society around you. I've often walked through the mall, sorting out the cliques and groups and naming them based ...
