I am an author of children's books and I have two books published. Scarab Eyes, which is a fantasy adventure set in Egypt for children, ages 6-11 and Serena and The Moor's Last Sigh-an adventure set in Spain for ages 6-11.

I have had three books commended at Winchester Writer's Conference.
I also enjoy writing poetry and won first prize in the Swanwick poetry 2008 competition.

Stuffed vine leaves. ( Waraq Einab) There are various ways of making these. This is my husband's Egyptian recipe. Time to cook thirty minutes, ( longer if you add mince) Ingredients; 250g rice Vine leaves. (We buy a packet from a local shop that sells foreign foods. They are also available in jars.
