Richie Caldicott is occasionally referred to as Roachmiester C and is... no, that just sounds stupid. If I write this whole thing in the third person I'll just sound like an idiot.
I write for the simple pleasure of doing so, I've tried to write the occasional screenplay, a few short stories and a lot of essays (none of which have been published or sold).
I live at home (imagine that) with my wife Jennifer and my pet cat Charly.
My none-writing hobbies include reading, drawing, painting and digital art - hence the image of me.
I love listening to music and dabble in most genres, a little bit of everything from Bob Dylan to Nine Inch Nails and Boney M to Fairport Convention.
My passion is ...
...a good title for an "art-house" short film
I know too much about ...
...how could anyone possibly know "too much" about anything?
My parents always told me ...
...to stop swearing... it didn't work
My childhood ambition ...
...was to be an actor or an artist
My favorite memory ...
...marrying the woman I love
Why I write ...
...because it beats letting demons build up
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
...reading - Charlie Brooker / watching - Peep Show / listening to - Ennio Morricone
My first job ...
...was terrible
My best moment ...
...marrying the woman I love (I'm a soppy romantic 'aint I?)
My inspiration ...
...the good, the bad and the ugly (in all its forms)
