Writing is my God-given passion and I am a regular contributor for several Christian ezines and websites. I have also been published in print, and will have stories included in several upcoming FaithWriters books.
I live in Texas with my wonderful husband and three parrots. Yes, I said parrots. They are demanding, messy, highly intelligent and fun. I am interested in the welfare of companion birds and educating the public about them.
I have a daughter, a step daughter, and five perfect grandchildren. My husband is a cotton and peanut farmer, and I am former RN who hung up my stethoscope to write and enjoy life. I love humor and like looking on the lighter side of things.
Nature and animals are two of my interests, and baking, gardening, and reading are some of the other ways I fill my hours. I enjoy church activities and wish I lived in the tropics. My dream is to wake up, look out my window and see palm trees and hear ocean waves. Sharing my toast with seagulls would be a hoot. In short, I want to live life to its fullest.
