Read, Write, and Ride! That's me!
I am a rabid writer. Pick a topic!
For more than 25 years, I have written mountains of materials: from corporate identity books to creative compositions, and from product publicity to poetry. My professional portfolio includes everything from annual reports to consumer and business-to-business advertising to executive speeches.
Beginning as an editor and copywriter, I also have held positions in advertising and public relations. Upon the arrival of my first child, I began freelancing. The bulk of my workload has been professional and corporate in nature.
For a brief interlude, I also taught high school English and creative writing.
My own educational background includes a B.A. in English and an M.S. in Journalism.
My latest passion is poetry and light humor. After all, writing should be fun, at least occasionally, right?
I believe responsibilities should be respected and honored, but we need not take ourselves too seriously.
Please feel free to peruse my online postings at Helium and elsewhere. I invite you to subscribe as well!

My passion is ...
My first love is my Lord, who experienced the ultimate Passion for me. He gave His own body to death, so I would not have to. Then He rose - victorious forever! My other passions are my kids and horses, particularly foaling, gardening, the outdoors
I know too much about ...
Let's not get into the "TOO MUCH INFORMATION" department.
My parents always told me ...
"You should be on the stage . . . and there's one leaving in 20 minutes!"
My favorite memory ...
Camping in a canyon, with our horses grazing overnight outside our tent.
Why I write ...
I cannot anything but write. It wakes me up, all through the night. I flick the light and grab my pen, or never shall I sleep again!
My first job ...
I had a newspaper route . . . uphill in the snow at night . . .before electricity.
My best moment ...
Bringing my babies home for the first time.
My inspiration ...
Hebrews 11:1. . . Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

HIGH HORSE OF HEAVEN
He rides upon a spotless mount;
His name is ever True.
The Faithful One, most paramount,
Returns for me and you.
With nail-scarred hands, He holds the rein,
His wounded feet hold fast.
Although He conquered death and pain,
The scars will ever last.
Above the clouds, He pirouettes.
A trumpet sounds the call.
The King whose blood redeemed our debts
Has triumphed over all.
In glowing robes and starry crown,
He gallops His joyride.
The time has come; He canters down
To beckon for His bride.
Then, seated on high Heaven's horse,
The Bridegroom and ...
