*UPDATE*
I just stepped down as the Style & Beauty steward. However, I am the subchannel steward for the Cosmetic Procedures channel. :)

I moved to Texas in May of this year and have recently put in a conditional release to switch from the Navy to the Air Force. This past weekend I found out that it was approved.

I like dabbling mostly in the Poetry and Style & Beauty subchannels, since I started writing poetry before writing actual stories and articles. I'm obsessed with beauty trends and procedures! I like to draw inspiration from everything from fashion trends to medical procedures. However, I have a weakness for romance novels and skincare guides.

Dear sisters,

As a young, black female myself, I feel that love for our race and gender is the most important step in empowerment in today's society. Love for every race and gender is essential. Outer beauty fades but it's your internal beauty that will shine throughout the years of your life. Take that internal beauty and perfect it; it will get you far in your aspirations.

There is so much more to life than the latest urban fashions, BET and funky beauty trends. Instead of using your time for shopping and beautifying yourself, why not take that time and energy to research your ance...
