Helium is the first peer-rated writing site that I have joined. The site has an interesting mix of content and a wide range of contributors.

My career background is in computer systems administration. I am currently an at-home-mom with two rapidly growing boys. I enjoy participating in freelance writing and photography opportunities.

While I have many hobbies, writing is my first love. My true interest lies in creative writing, however it has been fun to explore some editorial/journalistic options through Helium.
