I have always loved to write and express myself, but have not taken the time to pursue writing until June 13, 2007. It did not take long until I sold my first article on July 11, 2007.
Since then, through Helium alone I have sold articles in the Marketplace on subjects such as jewelry, pet care (SEO article), as well as pop culture. Helium has also featured some of my articles on the front page, on topics such as: architecture, holistic health, and pop culture.
Outside of Helium, I have sold articles related to medical issues, colors and interpretation, travel, etc. This shows the wide variety of subjects I can relate to besides my expertise on real estate and all aspects of the home buying and selling process.
Previously, I had done some volunteer writing. My major accomplishments in that department include translating some reviews for a musician that helped him obtain a recording contract, as well as translating some loan documents for a company I used to work for. In addition, I wrote all the content for the official website of Gary Thain, ex-member of the music group Uriah Heep. I also built and maintain that website.
I am one of the Site Steward Assistants for Helium. My assigned sub-channel is Home Interiors. I also serve as a guide for members who have English as their non-native language. Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns in those areas, or if you need any help in those areas.
I will also do my best to answer any other questions, and please feel free to send me constructive comments as well.
My daytime job provides me with a good working knowledge of real estate and home buying/selling related issues. However, I also have knowledge in marketing, advertising, music (and the arts in general), pets and animals, as well as spirituality and self-help issues. Most of my writing centers on those subjects, but I have also written some popular research articles.
I was born and raised in Germany and moved to Michigan at age 18. I lived there for 13 years, before relocating to Virginia.
I have lived in three different countries, and have experienced travel and different cultures. I like to incorporate these experiences in my writings, so I can appeal to a diverse audience; without being intrusive.

When it comes to moving, I could almost consider myself a pro. I have moved overseas, from State to State, as well as in-town. I have used professional movers, done the U-Haul thing, as well as used a little compact car to haul stuff from one end of town to the other. I also currently work in a real estate office, and we provide information as well for people who move. Combining these experiences, here are some tips for creating a checklist for moving.
