Married women should switch to their husband's surname.This seems appropriate as they are marrying into his family, as their children together will have his name. If the woman keeps her own family surname she will always feel a stranger in his family and with her own family, which she starts with her husband.

When a woman marries a man she is willing to give up her family name to become a member of a new family.When a man marries a woman he would like her to have his surname, so that she can be recognized as being his wife. I feel that the practice of a woman taking her husband's surname...
