Writing is very important in my life, and it is a passion. I've written for newsletters, have written numerous technical FAQ's for several companies, and have 3 published books. I'm proud of those works and the articles I have on Helium.

Of my books, all are science fantasies. The first is named Shadow On The Land, and was my first completed work published. My very first royalty check has never been cashed, and is framed and hanging on the wall. The second is a sequel, and the third is unrelated to the first two.

I am one of Helium's Site Stewards, here to help you in the Computer and Technology channel, and with any help or advice I can give regarding writing.

I am a lover of the outdoors and of animals. My wife and I have nursed many wild animals back to health, and the wildlife seems to know it when we go out into the woods. It is rare for us to go out camping without having a close encounter with one wild animal or another, often even entering our camp site without concern. We learn a great deal from these experiences. Camping and fishing are favorite past times, as well as helping people.

I love what many people might think of as trivia. Sometimes those facts come in handy, and I'm always looking to learn something new. If that knowledge can then help others, so much the better. If nothing else, it helps with my writing.

I've worked for the last fifteen years as a Computer Technical Support Engineer and senior support technician, besides my other pursuits.

I live in Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest where I also enjoy helping and teaching people in such diverse topics as wilderness survival and Shamanism. Even more, I enjoy learning, and that is a life long quest. I am also an ordained minister, avid gardener, and love learning from nature.
