What to do if you forget your username or password
Don’t worry! It happens to all of us. Here’s what to do.
- Click the “Log in” link at the top of the Helium page to access the “Log in” screen.
- At the bottom of the blue box, there is a link that says “Forgot Username or Password.” Click that.
- At the next screen, enter your username or the email address that you have registered with Helium. Click the “Submit” button.
- You will be brought to another screen with your security hint. Type in your security answer in the field provided and click “Submit.” If you’ve forgotten your security answer, please write to the Help Desk.
- You’ll be sent an email with a temporary password for the site. Once you have logged in with the temporary password, you will be asked to create a new password. (If you have not received the email within five minutes, please check your spam folder and/or check with your email provider.)
