Charting family trees five ways:

Even though www.genealogy.com offers you the software that may help you draw an artifact of your family history and the genealogical records,it is always best to be able to find out your own ways and strategies in charting your family tree.

Below is my proposed agenda about charting your family in five clear different ways.Everyone should be able to apply easily these family trees charts for their own families.They are free,easy,and simple.

1)Simple Pyramid or Tower

It is an elementary chart.It goes from the most to the least important individual.It is the hierarchy of the family.So,you MUST start with your parents for small family units.The following is my personal example:

#3 Elder brother:MIHYNDOU,SMITH
#4 Elder sister: MIHY-MIHINDOU,OFFRANDE(deceased)

#6 ME: MIHY-MIHYNDU,FISA

2)Graphical Representation:using names,dates,and relationships.

This chart describes relationships within a family with branches for descendants and roots for ancestors.You may want to start with YOUR ANCESTORS or GRANDPARENTS.

It consists of gathering information so that both parents data are condensed into one place and children's data into the other.

Children:MIHYNDOU,SMITH(1973);MIHY-MIHINDOU,OFFRANDE (1977-2005);MIHY-MIHYNDOU,MOVIE(1979);MIHY-MIHYNDU,F ISA(1981,Me)

4) Standard data family tree:

Everyone should like it a lot.It is easy and simple.Start with YOU.It is a easy as counting from 1 to 3.

father: MIHINDOU,ARCADIUS(born in 1954...etc)
mother:BIBALOU,VERONIQUE(born in 1958...etc)
...etc.

5) Revised or Arranged Standard data family Tree:

It is the revised version of the standard data family tree.Unlike the preceding method,this one requires order in unfolding the names,dates,...,of the rest of the family members.You may want to start with YOU.

#2 Father:MIHINDOU,ARCADIUS(born in 1954...etc)
