There is nothing worse that getting a new book, being excited to read it, and then almost falling asleep half way through. Actually, it could be worse; you could be a member of a book club and have to finish it.
Our Book Club has been reading and meeting for over four years now. We have read close to 50 books. Some were amazing, some were ok, and some were terrible.
Here is a list of the top 10 books we have read guaranteed to keep you interested instead of falling asleep.
1. The Birth House (Ami McKay)
2. The Red Tent (Anita Diamant)
3. The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini)
4. Memoirs of a Geisha (Arthur Golden)
5. Year of Wonders (Geraldine Brooks)
6. Cane River (Lalita Tademy)
7. The Secret Life of Bees (Sue Monk Kidd)
8. Drowning Ruth (Christina Schwarz)
