Well I've got to say women, and you've only got to ask the insurance companies and they will say the same.

There's one for "Sheilas" now, seen on the T.V. as the insurance company for women, how they get away with that with all the sex discrimination laws I don't know, but maybe it is because they can prove women are safer than men.

With power steering now strength no longer comes in to when steering around corners or the such like, and research shows that men find it harder to do more than one job at a time, so when there's kids in the car, women come up trumps again, they can control the kids and the car.

Women are more patient and less likely to display road rage, and are more patient in traffic queues.

What's more women don't take risks like men do, it doesn't hurt their pride to wait a moment and think that maybe the driver in front has a reason to be going slower, or maybe the speed limit is there for a good reason, or overtaking in a less than safe place will get them their faster, when it probably doesn't at all.

My experience and I've had plenty of it, tells me that, yes, women are the best drivers.
