When creating a blog and wanting to make money online the first thing you must do is concentrate on writing on a niche topic. Do not concentrate on how to make money at first.

What you want to do is get a free account on blogger.com or any other sites. This will allow you test the waters, to experiment with blogging. You want to start writing on a niche topic. See what interests you, but at the same time what other people are interested in reading.

Get yourself a Google adSense account, so you can add context advertisement on your website.

Don't worry about getting everything perfect the first time. I would experiment at first.

What I would also do is read Darren's website on making money with a blog. There is a nice little series in there about Blogging for Beginners:

There are some other cool ideas in there for making money with a blog. Darren makes a lot of money and many people reference his website. You can trust his advice.
