I have a salad, a tuna pasta salad, which my family and I absolutely love. My husband always jokes with me that he and the kids are my guinea pigs for all of the concoctions that I tend to come up with but thankfully they are always game to try anything new I set before them. This of course was one of those concoctions.

Tuna Pasta Salad servings: about 8-10

24 oz of macaroni or shell pasta cooked, drained and rinsed
red onion diced
1 cup mayonnaise
1 Tbsp mustard
2 cans tuna fish well drained
6 hardboiled eggs, peeled and diced
1 6oz can of sliced olives drained
2 Tbsp relish
1 tsp basil
Salt and pepper to taste

Upon completion of cooking the pasta we will pour it into a colander to drain and then run under cool water doing this helps to not only cool the noodles down quicker but also assists in keeping them from sticking together. Once well drained we will now add the pasta to a large mixing bowl.

In the bowl with the noodles we will add the remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly as we want to make sure everything is well blended. Once blended we can then serve the tuna pasta salad or to bring the flavors out a bit more you can refrigerate the salad for 1-2 hours prior to serving.
