The best gifts are the ones that you make yourself. It's so easy to just walk right into a store, take five minutes to walk around and just grab something off of the shelf. Unless they have specifically asked for this item, you should really use your creativity. Make them something. There are many websites you can go to and find things to make. Or go to a craft store and find some nice activities to do. It means a lot more when people can see the time and effort you put into gifts for them. And please, don't ever expect anything in return.

You can make a scrapbook: People love scrapbooks. Many people don't like to make them because they take a lot of time, and can be a bit expensive. You just need to know where to look for cheaper stickers and stencils and such.

You can get something like glass etching...it is so easy, and take about 5 minutes. You get something glass, like a picture frame, wine glass, plate, etc. And you follow the directions of the kit, and you have a wonderful design.

If you knit or crochet...you can make some clothes or a blanket. Who doesn't love a throw blanket and who can't use another blanket?

Bake some goodies...bake cookies or a cake or brownies...they are so easy. You don't have to make them from scratch...you just read the directions and decorate.

It's simple ideas like this...that mean the most and will be kept the closest to the heart and the longest.
