No More Prince Charmings

Ahhhthe smell of a new relationship. The scent is exciting, rejuvenating, invigorating, mysterious, and sexy. It is innocent and makes you act like a young school girl again. You suddenly giggle more frequently, butterflies find their way into your stomach again, and anticipation of what is to happen next makes you all warm and tinglyand then you wake up.

This is just another guy. They are all just another guy. I know, this sounds a little cynical of me. But, ladies, think about it. When was the last time you were pleasantly surprised by a man? For those of you who have found your "perfect match", well, this is not for you. But, for the ones still searching for "Mr. Right", you know what I am talking about. Sure, it's all fun and exciting when a new relationship finds itself in your life, but once into it, you think "he is just like the others". There is nothing different about this man. Is a bit harsh of me to say that "all men are the same"? I mean, why do they talk to you initially, anyway? You think it is because he could tell you were smart and witty from across the bar? No. He probably noticed your nice "rack". You think they thought, "Wow. I bet this girl would make for an interesting conversation?" No. He is thinking, "I bet this girl would be awesome in bed." You think that guy eyeing you from across the dance floor is wondering what you do for a living, if you have any children, or even cares what your name is? Probably not. He is most likely wondering what bra size you wear, what color panties you have on, or if you even have bra and panties on at all.

I know. We like to think we are going to meet our "Prince Charming" one day. Well, news to the ladies: Prince Charming only exists in the fairytales that were told to us when we were little girls. No old-fashioned romance anymore. Romance these days goes a little like this: You meet a guy in club/bar, maybe exchange numbers or go home with him that nighteither way, you eventually sleep togethersometimes he calls you backif he does, then more likely it was because of your performance in the bedroomeventually maybe he takes you to a dinner or moviethen, finally, he notices that you make him laugh, he loves your smile, and that you are a compassionate and loving person. See what's wrong with this picture, ladies? No old fashioned getting to know you dates, waiting until the perfect moment for that first kiss, and forming a genuine friendship before swimming in deeper
