Fun Fourth of July parfaits that you can be proud to serve this year at your fireworks spectacular are easy when you know how. Delicious food is always what makes a Fourth of July party into a memorable event, do yourself proud this year with these great parfait ideas.
Fourth of July Berry Parfaits
1 Pint of fresh blue berries and a can of blueberry pie filling, or two pints of fresh blueberries.
1 pint of fresh cherries and a can of cherry pie filling or two pints of fresh cherries with stems removed. (Or fresh raspberries instead in the same amounts)
One small tub of cool whip
One package of clear plastic cups
Remove cups from package, and separate these on a table for the fillings. In each cup, layer the cool whip, blueberries, and cherries. Using the clear cups allows you to bring a red, white, and blue theme to your Fourth of July table.
Fourth of July Berry Surprise Parfaits
1 Pint of fresh blue berries
1 pint of fresh cherries with stems removed. (Or fresh raspberries)
One small pound cake or white cake cubed into small pieces
One small tub of cool whip
One package of clear plastic cups
Remove cups from package, and separate these on a table for the fillings. In each cup, layer the ingredients such as the cake on bottom, add a layer of blue berries, cool whip, cake, cherries, and end with another layer of cool whip. Using the clear cups allows you to bring a red, white, and blue theme to your Fourth of July table.
Fourth of July Creamy Berry Surprise Parfaits
1 Pint of fresh blue berries
1 pint of fresh cherries with stems removed. (Or fresh raspberries)
Two small boxes of vanilla pudding prepared.
One small tub of cool whip
One package of clear plastic cups
Remove cups from package, and separate these on a table for the fillings. In each cup, layer the ingredients such as the pudding on bottom, add a layer of blue berries and cherries, pudding layer, fruit layer, and top with a dollop of cool whip. Using the clear cups allows you to bring a red, white, and blue theme to your Fourth of July table.
Fourth of July Jell-O Parfaits
1 Pint of fresh blue berries
1 pint of fresh cherries with stems removed. (Or fresh raspberries)
A large box of blueberry Jell-o Prepared and cubed
A large box of Red Jell-O (the flavor needs to be the same as the red frit you choose). Prepared according to the box and cubed.
One small tub of cool whip
One package of clear plastic cups
Remove cups from package, and separate these on a table for the fillings. In each cup, layer the ingredients such as the blue berry jell-O on bottom, add a layer of blue berries, cool whip, red jell-O layer, red fruit layer, and top with a dollop of cool whip. Using the clear cups allows you to bring a red, white, and blue theme to your Fourth of July table.
If you dislike cherries, substitute raspberries or strawberries to achieve the red part of these festive Fourth of July parfaits. Red, white, and blue foods as well as paper decorations will help your Fourth of July party to be a memorable event.
