What keeps Mike Tyson in the headlines? It's not his boxing as he is pretty much done. It has to be the fact that trouble follows him like a magnet. When you think of trouble, you got Mike Tyson with you in association. Its a shame to that he was once one of the top boxers in the world and a former Heavyweight Champion. As far as his downfall, he can probably look at himself and realize he really messed up. Is it too late for him to clean up his life? I don't feel that it is as it is never too late as long as you are still breathing. Before I even begin to try to figure out, it's time to quick stroll down memory lane.

Mike Tyson was a red-hot superstar in the boxing world and did become the youngest Heavyweight Champion of all-time. I believe to this day he still holds the record. He might have been one of those guys people know about and they're not regular boxing fans. You couldn't get away from Mike Tyson at the time. He even got to be in a video game that probably many have heard of called Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! That's a pretty good game and challenging. He would be the Undisputed Champion of the world winning the top boxing titles.

One of his memorable bouts though for the wrong reasons is the bout with Holyfield. I remember watching that and I couldn't believe what I saw. He bit his ears and this would be the last boxing match I can recall watching. While I'm not an avid boxing watcher, I knew who Tyson was.

He lost his money mainly due to poor decisions. Had he been smarter with his money, he wouldn't be in debt so much. Mike Tyson even served a jail sentence and it's such a shame and makes you really wonder what happened. To put it bluntly, a series of poor decisions hampered him and getting himself in trouble with the law didn't help anything.

The main issue is Mike Tyson himself. There's no getting around it, he has caused his own misery and problems. He can admit to it himself and probably has. Does that mean he can't fix anything at all and try to restore himself? I believe he can fix himself. It's going to take some work but as long as he is alive it isn't too late to at least make amends to those that he caused harm to.
