Many wrestlers come and go and leave an everlasting impression. Some have long careers while others were like a quick sprint from beginning all the way to the very end. There are some that are alive and some that are dead whether or not they are remembered greatly will depend on the circumstances of course. Does that mean they are automatic Hall of Fame wrestlers? Not exactly as there are some that never really did anything that made them stand out. The WWE has just recently inducted Ric Flair and of course The Rock's father and grandfather. Here are some of the names that I will put down and this won't have Chris Benoit since he's been covered a lot.
Hulk Hogan: The man who took WWE to the top of the mountain and made it a National promotion. He held the WWF Title for 4 years, a feat that can't be done with today's standards. You can't deny the charisma he had and could really pull a crowd into a match. He had 6 WWE Titles, though 5 of them were as WWF, 6 WCW Titles to continue his success. He was also a factor in being with the New World Order being a heel and one of the founding fathers of it.
Ultimate Warrior: Though his run was short, his biggest moment was at Wrestlemania 6 where he became the 1st wrestler and so far the only one to have ever been the WWF Intercontinental Champion and also the WWF Champion at the same time albeit for one day. His legacy would be a guy who came in quick and got out quick.
Macho Man Randy Savage: He was a wrestler that used to be a heel but got cheered and then had his biggest moment at Wrestlemania 4 where he wrestled 4 nights to win the championship. He won it again 4 Wrestlemanias later against Ric Flair.
Bret Hart: Not the biggest wrestler but the most technically sound and was a long running wrestler in the WWE. He started in the tag team ranks but moved up to become a WWE Champion and did it 5 times in his career. He did go to WCW but after the Montreal Screwjob.
Shawn Michaels: Another guy like Bret that started in the tag ranks. His biggest moment would be Wrestlemania 12 where he won the belt in a classic Iron Man Match against Bret Hart. His career was almost destroyed after having back problems. Now he is continuing but looking to slow down. Shawn Michaels is a future Hall of Fame wrestler and there really isn't much to say that can be added.
Stone Cold Steve Austin: Here's a guy that WCW never trusted for the WCW Title but he created and became Stone Cold mostly known
