Infertility treatments: Lessons from Eastern medicine

Woman is the most beautiful creature of god. She does not give birth only human being but she makes whole universe. That's why she is called Mother. But despite of all good features, woman suffers some very crucial problems and infertility is among them.

Infertility results when the network of hormones, organs and energy systems do not function optimally. Reasons behind these irregularities can be both physical and mental, but these imbalances obstruct normal function that is conceiving a child every time her ovaries release an egg. Though medical science have invented and experimented many medicines and therapies to cure infertility, people are pursuing alternative therapies worldwide and these medicines, called eastern medicines, are getting popularity rapidly.

In eastern medicines generally Chinese Tai Chi and Indian Yoga show the way of treatment without any loss and side effects. Yoga increases vitality, strengthens and stretches muscles and stimulates and regulates the hormonal and immune system. As we know that stress and hormonal disorder are the most common reasons of infertility, so yoga shows the right way. Steps of it like Pranayam and Kapalbhati give peace of mind and strengthens inner energy. Yoga helps to develop a calm, focused mind and balances body, mind and spirit. Thus it is the right choice of eastern medicines to cure infertility.

Just like Indian therapies Chinese Tai Chi also helps to treat the disease.
Developed as a martial art in 14th century, it soon came to be seen as an exercise promoting harmony, balance and relaxation of the body and mind. There are eight branches of Chinese medicine; each emphasize balancing a person's chi, or energy, in relation to their three realms: heaven, human and earth. These branches include: herbal therapy, acupuncture, diet, massage, exercise, mediation, cosmology and feng shui.
Similarly herbs do play vital role in treatment of infertility. many herbs like Black Cohosh, Chasteberry, Horny Goat Weed, Siberian Ginseng and Centella Asiatica, are used in this disease. Horny Goat Weed (Epimedium grandiflorum) is vastly used in both eastern and western medicines. This improves male potency and acts as an sexual stimulant. It also improves a man's sperm quantity and quality. Just like it Chasteberry is a natural hormonal balancer and it helps the pituitary gland to function optimally. The pituitary gland regulates the ovulation process and maintains a healthy hormonal level within the body.
Acupunture is another important eastern treatment. It divides a human body in many points who regulate functioning of a body. There are some 200 points have been described by specialists where needles can reportedly stimulate and regulate the flow of chi.
Reiki is also taking its place in the world of eastern medicines. Based on touch therapy, it increases our energy level and cleans our aura, so that we can be protected from diseases. It also helps to develop a calm and peaceful mind and body and that results to cure infertility too.
