Does God test our faith? That is absurd.
God has no need to test our faith. Are we not dealing with a God that knows all and sees all? Is it not obvious then that God has no need to test us? By It's very nature, God knows whether or not we possess "faith." Therefore, it becomes unnecessary for God to "test our faith" about something it already knows.
God knows everything about you and I. Nothing escapes God's knowledge. To suggest that God needs to test our faith is to imply that God does not truly know us. This is absurd, because God knows all. And because God knows all, God has no reason to test our faith. Tests are designed to test our knowledge about things. God requires no such tests, as by God's very nature, It knows all there is to know. Thus, God has no need to test us for something that It already knows.
Popular belief has it that Satan is responsible for the troubles and problems that befall mankind. How absurd. Since the beginning of human civilization, we have been blaming everything but ourselves for the problems and troubles that beset us. It is human nature to do this, and since we cannot seem to blame ourselves for such things, we must find something else to blame in our place.
"He (or she) did it - it wasn't me," or "It's not my fault," are too often common human responses to the trials and tribulations that befall our lives. Consequently, too often are we ready and willing to blame something or someone outside ourselves for our problems and troubles. Rarely do we admit responsibility. What do we do instead? We blame it on Satan.
The problem is that Satan does not exist. For those of you who disagree, ponder this: Lucifer fell from God's grace. Lucifer's name then became Satan. Eventually, Satan was cast out of heaven, and of all the places in the universe where God could have sent this presumed evil, God sent Satan to earth instead - the same place where God created human life!
I ask this: Is God so human-like in nature that It would send Its arch enemy, Satan, to the same place inhabited by the human race? The universe is enormous. Are we willing to believe that God intentionally put Satan on the same planet as human beings? That is absurd. This is like saying that - if you are a parent - you are willing to put your baby son or daughter in a swimming pool along with a gray white shark. Would you be willing to do that? Of course not. What makes anyone think then that God would
