What is the best cheese?

Wales produces a fine variety of farmhouse cheeses.I have a brief description of five of my favorite types from South and West Wales:

Llanboidy:

This award winning farmhouse cheese is from rural Carmarthenshire. It is matured on the farm for five months and has a robust yet silky smooth texture. The cheese is made from unpasteurized milk from the farm's very rare Red Poll cattle. Llanboidy won

a gold medal in the British Cheese awards back in 2001.

Caws Cenarth (Specialty Cheeses):

These cheeses are produced by a small family enterprise based on a Carmarthenshire farm. They create a wide variety of fine cheeses but my favorites are their range of specialty cheeses. They come in three types made from natural ingredients.(Sun dried tomato with white wine, apricot with brandy, and leek with white wine. In 1998 Prince Charles visited the farm.

Y Fenni:

This is a creamy cheddar combined with brown ale and wholegrain mustard. The cheese is named after the south wales town of Abergavenny. it is ideal with pickles and crusty bread.

Tintern:

This mature cheese is flavored with with chives and shallots. It is named after a 12th century abbey in the Wye valley in south wales near to the English border.

Caws Nantybwla Farmhouse Cheese:

This cheese is made from an old family recipe on a farm just outside Carmarthen. It is hard pressed using unpasteurized milk. There are no preservatives or coloring and
has a naturally creamy, clean, rich and very distinctive flavor.

Caws Nantbwla has won many top International and British awards. It is also made with garlic, chives and laverbread (A welsh delicacy made from seaweed), plus a smoked variety.
