Poetry: Has time slipped away?
The days have passed so quickly, where has the summer gone?
Cool winds blowing my hair gently, the sun setting before it has begun.
My mind travels with the dancer, an eye on the level within,
Time
reflects in the carving of a deep canyon
by a river.
Time
reflects in the blooming and fruiting
and endless overgrowth
that makes the trail disappear.
Time
reflects in the ebb and the flow
of the tides, the rise and the fall
of
One hundred five and still alive
Alert clear headed how she thrives
One wonders how she spends her days
While all that time has slipped away
December 1999
the clock stood still wouldn't cross the line
but blink your eye
While toil lends time,
Joy steals it, whipping it around corners
Like a wind over a landscape,
Speeding through life's moments.
When engrossed we sip wine
In fluted glasses,
Turning to find the bottle empty
Before we have had

Has Time Slipped Away?
Truly is it gone?
Am I now in a place
Where I don't really belong?
How do I get back?
Or should I just move on
I need to make the right choice
So often am I wrong
by Roger Rudder
Over space,
time began.
At this time:
good morning,
good afternoon,
it is twilight, goodbye.

They hold their candles but say they cannot see me;
They ask me for the truth - I tell - they don't believe me;
And everybody wants much more from me these days than I'm prepared to give
Don't want to step on toes - Can't you
by Adele Cyka
You held my hand tight
Promised that you'd see me grow old,
You walked away, distantly
And with your cherished kiss, you returned.
For months and years we yearned
For a lifetime of togetherness.
Every day, every month, every
Not enough hours in the day
When depressed, the hours drag on
But now, almost in the blank spaces of normalcy,
I recognize the subjectivity of time,
sort of longing for the sped up reality of mania.
