ABC Soup

Why the name? It's because it's made up of three main ingredients: potato, carrot and onion.
Why try out this soup? It's delicious, low fat, low in calories but highly nutricious. Most importantly, it's so easy to make!

Ingredients
===========
(Serves 4)
3 potatoes
2 carrots
1 yellow onion
2 tomatoes
1 liter chicken stock
Method
======
1. Cut each potato into 4 small pieces.
2. Cut carrot into chunks.
3. Halve yellow onion, then cut each half vertically into 5 parts so you can open up
the layers.
4. Cut each tomato into 6 small pieces.
5. Put all potatoes, carrots, yellow onion, tomatoes and chicken stock into a pot.
6. Put to a boil, then reduce heat to medium. Cook until all vegetables become soft.
7. Add salt to taste.
8. Serve.
How to Make Chicken Stock from Chicken Frame

I usually don't use chicken stock due to the MSG in the stock cubes. The following is how I make chicken stock from chicken frame and other chicken parts.
Ingredients (for the above soup to serve 4)
===========================================
1 chicken frame (includes the neck, body frame and legs)
1 liter of water
Method
-
1. Put chicken frame and parts into a pot. Pour the water into the pot.
2. Put to a boil, then reduce heat to medium. Cook for 1 hour.
P/s: If you are cooking the ABC soup, put all chicken frame and parts, plus all the vegetables into the pot to cook together in water. Your ABC soup will be ready in 1 hour after adding salt to taste.
