Blind persons show homosexuality is natural

An interesting look at the being gay as natural or choice is evidenced when speaking to gay men who are blind. This, in line with other scientific studies, shows that gay is not a choice.

A gay friend of mine, Bob Feinstein, just sent me an article about being blind and gay.

Bob is blind and, among others, interviewed for the article, "Life in the Dark Room", written by David McG (aka Haydon Bridge). Unfortunately, no blind lesbians appear in the article, which would also be very interesting.

Blind gay men, apparently, avoid the normal gay passage of rites called the "bar scene", but are not absent of experience in that venue. Not because they cannot find the door, a problem still restricted to sighted gays heavily drugged and inebriated, but for various other reasons.

One thing noted being that people tend to pay a lot more attention to the Seeing Eye dog than the blind owner of the dog. Saying hello to and petting Bowser which is a normal reaction but we would normally talk more to the person with the dog than to the dog itself. There is no indication that these persons are attempting to "pick-up" the dog which some see as a positive sign in gay morality, a few others simply refuse to believe it as they flash the cross on their necklace and run.

Dark humor might be inappropriate but, lest one become too serious about everything in life, necessary.

The din of the average gay bar is said as being much too loud to hear conversation very well. This becomes especially understandable as the blind persons other senses become heightened to countermand the blindness. Along this line, from the gist of things, a blind person will often sit alone and when spoken to, will listen more than talk. Giving a sage-like appearance possible but this, to a person attempting to open a conversation in a bar, would appear more as disinterest.

In a gay scene where others are often judged according to their looks, and a single blemish might ostracize any given person for the night, blindness is probably a two-fold problem. A blind person has an "affliction" and so many gay persons are looking for a "perfect" ideal, though it is less attainable than a perfect martini, and finding a blind mate is usually not included in an idea of "perfection". In addition, what good is a blind person if they cannot drool over ones own perfect look?

It is when we look at the lives of gay blind persons that we see the naturalness
