Psychological and sociological relationships evolve just like a love affair whether we drink coffee, tea or you have sex for free, additive behavior evolves within human understanding by its literal creation of "understanding" that these relationships and behaviors bring commonality in acceptance and evolves peace of mind for the moment.

It feels like heaven to be friends or part of a group! Being accepted always entails initiation and acceptance can establish a repetitious following. That is human nature!

All of us are addicted to our behavior and that my friend is a personality trait that takes many years to create. Kids don't usually get hooked on dope they get hooked up with dopes and create bonds with them as running mates. If you want to understand addictive behavior you must understand "how our understandings nature evolves" to be common to our traits.
We are born equal "free of tragedy" and from there we evolve to grow by learning our path of least resistance ~ to the greatest reward.

We aren't all blessed with a good healthy environment and even when we are there are many roads to choose in life that end in tragedy or just don't evolve because of social interference concerning moral acceptance ~ that is a religious behavior and most kids don't have much confidence in religious teaching anymore. Afterlife and gods vengeance haven't been "an experience" beyond superstition. So, what's that stuff still being taught into children's minds for? I would say there are enough good metaphors and common truths to keep their moral teaching in business "if" that is the core intention of their professions.

Humanity is a tree of life and each individual feeds upon the truth because it helps them learn a path in life. Problem with our teaching of children today is that it is not always an experience with nature (concerning our past history) it's just a perspective written, taught as "dead truth" then forced to be remembered ~ just that way! This is brain washing!

All of this is very important as children get older and the real world has little resemblance to the goody two shoes perspective written. We learn that killing is not glorious after being taught ~ it was the only solution! Perplexing our understanding, then we can't understand anything about politics ~ beyond the command chain, add the fact that we are surrounded by political liars and its no wonder the kids find comfort in escaping reality.
