The US Robotics Wireless Network Starter kit is your basic set up kit which includes everything you need to set up your home with a high tech wireless network, there is no need to get any engineers in and you if you can read you will be able to install this very easily.

Unboxing
In the box you will get the US Robotics router itself, this is the main bit of kit that will enable you to do your wireless networking. Power adaptor, annoying shaped to take up two plug sockets on your basic power strip. Instruction leaflet, this is very informative and helpful with a wide range of troubleshooting topics should anything go wrong, USB wireless access adaptor, if your PC or laptop does not have a built in wireless networking card you will have to use this and the driver CD which you only need if you're going to use the USB adaptor. Absolutely everything you need to get set up wirelessly, the inclusion of an Ethernet cable for wired networking is nice but as they can be bought for as little as a pound it's not such a big deal.

Looks
The router is quite slim and not clunky like some Linksys routers I have seen and will fit into a small enclosed area if need be. It is finished in a sleek and white colour, perfect for fitting in with your modern office equipment or even a Mac (sorry for saying the M word!) On the top of the router you have the US Robotics logo in black fitted on a silver disk which is quite stylish, there are two black antennae that are adjustable on the sides so you can position them for the best possible signal. On the front there are many green lights, these are for alerting you of your connection status, if any devices are connected to the internet and if there is any problem with the router itself. The lights are fitted on a silver panel similar to the one on the top of the router. On the bottom of the router you have 4 rubber feet so if you have the router on a smooth surface it won't slip onto the floor unless you give it a good tug. The USB adaptor like the router is finished in white and on the sides it says, US Robotics Wireless B/G. It also has a replaceable cap which you can put on to prevent dust getting into the USB socket when it is not in use.

Set Up
Setting up the router is very simple, simply plug it in like you would any electronic device. Then connect the Ethernet cable from your modem to the back of the router into the port marked WAN. If you want to connect any wired devices plug them into any of the LAN ports. Then reset
