Before the new big 3 of the Boston Celtics (Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce in case you've been living in a cave) you pretty much had to live somewhere in the northeastern part of the country to get a Celtics souvenir. The reason is because before this season the Celtics barely made the playoffs coupled with the fact that the only two major stars they have had since the Rick Pitino era have been Paul Pierce and Antoine Walker. Now with the Celtics winning in my area anyways (I live in Tennessee for the record) finding a jersey or a pennant at sports stores have become like finding bread at Walmart. It is guaranteed to be there. The ease at which one finds pennants is dependant upon how often the team wins. Everybody says it's not about winning but in college and professional sports everybody knows that is a lie. It's all about the winning baby.

The best places and prices to get souvenirs all depends on where you live. Some easy places Celtics fans can find souvenirs for it's team are Foot Locker, Hibbet's and pretty much any other major sports retailer. How much you say? If you go to footlocker.com you can find a Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett or Bill Russell jersey for $74.99 (of course you may be able to find it cheaper if you actually go to the store). Or if you want to spend it a little bit less and don't necessarily have to have a jersey there are other options as well. If you go to Amazon.com and type in Boston Celtics souvenirs you can get a KG (Kevin Garnett) jersey for $21.99, and a Celtics hat for $17.99 among other things.

Nowadays with the sports craze most people have you can just about anything on your favorite team. On Amazon the other things which are posted online right now are Play Station 2 remotes, a desk clock, a watch and many other things. In a matter of fact 2,252 of them. On e-bay you will find a Celtics beanbag chair with the bidding price at $19.99, Celtics curtains for $.99. The exact things you will find on those web sites depend on the exact entry. If you type in Boston Celtics souvenirs you will find many more posters and plaque-like pictures you will find of the C's in action.

Another good place to get Celtics souvenir's would be the team's web site or if you ever happen to be near TD Banknorth Garden, Celtics gear can be found there as well. Some of the things you can get from the stores web site are a 10K gold pendant and of course t-shirts and hats. Right now the Celtics even have a shamrock sale where you can get up to 45 percent off on numerous items. I'm not going to be specific to avoid being partial to one company. You also can get numerous books and dvd's that have written and produced about the Celtics in the store.
