If you are a video game fanatic and you just happened to purchase an Apple iPhone chances are you very likely will be left with a bitter expression on your face. With all the features and tecnological amenities an Apple iPhone has to offer it is a sad fact that video games are not amongst them. Actually, truth is, the Apple iPhone does not even come with any games included as we have been used to with any other former mobile phones we have purchased in the past.
The only hope out there for those who believe video games are a must on their mobile phone, comes through playing them using the Safari browser or in other words surfing the web or by purchasing some games to sync through the iTunes website.
If you are thinking to play some sort of highly cool game with great graphics, think again, as most games are limited to the well known classic arcade games we are well too familiar with. You may find for instance, Solitaire, Blackjack, chess, Reversi or other old fashioned games you grew up with. This is really a shame since you have the potential of enjoying really tecnologically advanced games on the nice glass display with bright colors and sharp audio.
However, for those nostalgic players many of these games still hold a precious place in their hearts and can be still be pretty addictive. A plus to consider is the fact that these games can be played with the tap of a finger, giving the player a whole new different experience.
Super Mario is and has always been a popular game. I have spent hours collecting coins and defeating monsters along with this game's old nostlagic gig. Even though today Wii offers new Super Mario games that are controlled by motion sensors controllors, we must admit that the plain old Super Mario non 3D flat game still conserves its old time fashion.
Collapsing blocks is an addictive puzzle game where you must tap your finger on blocks of the same color in order to make them collapse. It is great when you have time to kill and feel extremely bored.
On a more innovative view, Bejeweled is available to all those Bejeweled fans out there. This way too popular game had to be available for those who own an Apple iPhone.
For those not familiar with it, you must tap on gem stones in order to get them to match colors and collapse.
Sudoku, a favorite for those intellectual numerical entusiasts is the ideal solution over bringing along a bulky Sodoku booklet along with a pencil. This game is a must when you are somewhere waiting for someone late, or simply while sipping your morning cappuccino in a coffee shop.
These and many other games are avaialble now for iPhone owners over the internet for a low price or even free. It is hard to announce the top best games as games in my opinion, are very personal choices. Make sure to look for your favorites games on a daily basis as they are updated very often and selections are getting wider and wider. With the increasing demand, hopefully the iPhone will start producing more innovative games taking advantage of the many tecnical qualities an iphone has to offer. In the meanwhile, keep you fingers busy playing and your eyes open as you never kno when your favorite video game will come out and be available for you to purchase!
