There is that girl; you know the one I am talking about. She's bubbly, vivacious and alluring, people are drawn to her like moths to a flame! This uncanny ability to draw others to her like a magnet has more to do with the way she acts than the way she looks. She attracts great jobs and has a vast network of friends. She's enthusiastic and fun and she makes you feel good about yourself. Now who wouldn't want to spend time with someone like that?

So, can the average person develop a magnet like ability like this and how?

Let's go through the basics aspects of attracting people and positive opportunities into your life.

GENUINE AND HONEST:
The most important part of the process is to be genuine. Have a genuine interest in other people, otherwise you will not succeed. People can tell a fake straight away and this will cause resentment. People are interesting and unique creatures so get to know them on an individual and personal level. I find that so many people have a fascinating or remarkable thing about them- you just need to dig deep. By becoming interested in other people they will become more interested in you as most people like to feel special and enjoy talking about themselves.

LAUGH AND SMILE:
A smiling, happy and positive person is great to hang around. See the good in things and people around you and you will attract good things into your life. If you struggle with this concept because you feel you have so many things wrong in your life- try harder! Sit down and write down all the qualities you have or the good things in your life and focus on them. Watch funny movies on a regular basis and you will soon feel a lot happier.

JOIN AND ACCEPT
Join a sport, club, environmental group or whatever organisation you are passionate about. This will expose you to new people in an environment that you enjoy. When you are invited to social functions or even work functions- GO. Be a joiner and accepter and people will be more inclined to invite you to even more functions.

HELP AND BE HELPED
Be that person that's always willing to lend a hand, whether it be when your friends are moving house or at the community fair. A generous and helpful person is welcome anywhere. When others offer to help you, accept graciously and be careful not to abuse the situation.

These were just a few tips on attracting people and positive opportunities into your life. Start with these basics and build on your good character and you will go far in life. Just remember to value yourself and others.
