There are many speculations on why it is that we make mistakes, however the favorite being the one that I will focus on today. Mistakes are made, so that we can learn from them (at least in my own humble opinion). They allow us to accomplish things that otherwise would not have been completed, such as practicing rollerskating for example. When we first learn to do this, we often times fall and harm ourselves. This enables us to realize the error of our ways, and learn to do the activity properly. In no time, after having fallen down several times you will have learned to skate with ease. The mistake could have been as simple as turning your foot slightly inward, or not understanding how to use the breaks.

Although our mistakes aren't always recognized as a normal occurrence in our day to day life, such as a mistake that is preformed at work. It is unfortunate that often times bosses, or your superiors do not take the time to understand, and willingly accept that mistakes are made even by themselves. It is a natural way for us to learn, and allows us to better ourselves as a whole, and upon any one given task.

I would like to think, that the only truly bad mistake is the one that is not learned from. Many people do not take solace in learning from their bad behavior, or common mis-step in their lives. They often react to it as if it is the end of the world, while it is quite the contrary. If properly used in a constructive manner, the human society could grow immensely from the mistakes of their forefathers, as well as their own.

However, a mistake it not to be confused with outright bad behavior. Things such as murder, and genocide should NEVER be considered this. They are simply an outright display of poor behavior, and bad choices made along the way. A disgusting display that is often times given the name of "mistake" however was accomplished through great thought, and meditation. The mistakes I refer to that can help save our society, are those that seem fairly small and obsolete. Such as your choice in how you treat the world, and the mistakes that we have made in dumping thousands of pounds of garbage in waste lands. This mistake could be rectified by combining the knowledge that we now have, as the cause and effect of our past behaviors.

From the day we are born, until the day that our lives shall end; we will continue to learn from our mistakes. To grow as a person, and as a community in sharing our many faults, that will give way to our inner most perfections. We can reclaim our lives, and allow ourselves to make many more mistakes that will allow us to live fulfilling lives, if only we take the time to learn.
