When selling a vehicle there are specific criteria needed. The ingredients needed to make a successful sale, is: Pictures, Description, Condition, Service&Past, and Traffic.
We will start off with Pictures. You need to show customers what kind of condition your vehicle is in. Is it great? Does it have swirls in the paint? rock chips? Curb Rashes? These all take action in ones mind when purchasing a vehicle. I will go over all the conditioning of a vehicle in the paragraphs following. Try to hire a professional photographer. Everything has to seem mellow, and attractive to ones eye. If they see band angled pictures, what would you think their thoughts are? They'd just go to the next listing.
This is one of the important ones. You need to state all the facts, HP and TQ specifications. From engine size, to color and so on. Any modifications done, tread remaining on tires, to the overall condition of the vehicle. This would also mean, having an e-mail, daytime and evening time phone number listed. If a buyer calls your phone, and doesn't pick up, they' think that the ad is just a scam.
The condition of the vehicle. How is it? The paint, the wheels, and creases or stains on the leather inside? All of this matters to the buyer. If your vehicle is not in good, or excellent condition, I'd recommend a detailer. Wax, Clay Bar and polish the exterior, and detail the interior. You can attract many buyers attention with this. All it will cost you, is probably 300-400 dollars. In return what will you receive? More money for the purchase.
Servicing is a big deal to many. Servicing should be done as a routine. The vehicle needs to be well maintained, as how a human should. From oil changes, to brakes, to tune-ups, and so forth. All of these have to be taken into consideration. You should post this into you description of your ad of you has done. The past history of a vehicle is also a good thing to look into. As a seller, you need to provide all documents, from service, to a DMV papers and Carfax. They buyer needs to see that the vehicle has been well maintained. This is a big +.
Lastly, where is the buyer to find your vehicle? Traffic buddy! Some main places that is nice to sell vehicles is, eBay, Auto Trader, Cars.com, Local craiglists and more. But Auto Trader has worked amazingly for me. If you have a good place to place the ad, it will gain dramatically gain traffic, and hopefully find a buyer. The best place I'd recommend is eBay. For only one very well reason. On eBay, you ad will appear in search engines, this goes for craiglists also. Which would be viewed by a massive amount of audience. Other than that reason, Autotrader, is a flat amount till selling, and its great.
