High blood pressure (hypertension) symptoms

The Silent Killer

There is a silent killer living among us. It is called Hypertention or High Blood Pressure, either name will mean the same condition. It is most deadly because there are symptome and many times, there will be no apperent symptoms of all. It can happen when you think you feel well. It is important to listen to your body, it gives you signs.

Symptoms of hypertension and high blood pressure can be difficult to find, even when you think, you know your own body so well. It can deceive you. You can think you are doing well and do your everyday activities, it is easy for you to miss the warnings your body gives you.

Some of these symptoms are:

*Sweating and perspiring more than usual
*Shortness of breath
*Heart palpations or hearing the beating of your own heart
*Dizziness
*Blurred vision
*Nausea
*Thirsty often
*Shakiness or nervousness at times
*Ringing in your ears

These could all be symptoms of high blood pressure or hypertension. It could also be symptoms of other things going on, you may not realize. That is why it is most important to visit your physician when you experience any of these symptoms. Ignoring this, could bring on a more serious condition, as heart attacks or strokes.

This disease knows no sex preference, race orientations or age acceptance. It may and can affect anyone, at any time of his or her lives. It does seem to be hereditary but whether the genes are passed down or not, a person can still be at risk. Going without being treated for hypertension or high blood pressure can change your life completely. It can also end your life completely.

Ten years ago, there was less known about high blood pressure and hypertension. Thanks to advance medical technology, which keeps changing every day, more answers are found and therefore more people are able to be saved. These days more people in this country live a lifetime longer than before. We can live healthier and happier than ever before.

A man who lived in the nineteen seventies, could have died young from hypertension, high blood pressure and much had to do with not only the stress in his life but his diet and lack of exercise. Even in the nineteen sixties, a man's age of living did not usually last longer than his sixty to sixty- two years of life. Statistics are greater, much greater than they use to be. Nevertheless, not all the medical advice given by a physician, all the exercise equipment in the world to buy and the medicines prescribed,
