Caribbean resorts: Luxury hotels in Jamaica

Jamaica has long been a playground for the rich and famous. Fantastic weather, beautiful beaches, fantastic service and amenities that would bring a smile to the faces of royalty all await the traveler to this Caribbean paradise. There are several luxury resorts in Jamaica each with its own distinct flavor and style. No matter what your definition of paradise, these resorts offer something for everyone. Pristine golf courses, fabulous spas, luxurious accommodations, spectacular tours of the islands flora & fauna and more are all available to the traveler that wants the very best. Jamaicas fabulous resorts offer little slices of heaven for anyone who can afford them.

Montego Bay, home to Jamaica's largest airport, the Sir Donald Sangster International Airport, is also home to one of the most luxurious places to stay on the island, the Half Moon Royal Villas. From George Bush to Queen Elizabeth, this hotel has placed host to plenty of famous people. Set amid brilliant tropical gardens on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, the hotel offers a beautiful backdrop for a luxurious Caribbean vacation. With an equestrian center and guest horseback riding, 13 tennis courts, a place where guests can swim with dolphins called Dolphin Lagoon, two crescent shaped beaches with over 50 freshwater pools, the Robert Trent Jones Championship Golf Course, three swimming pools including an Olympic size lap pool, a world class fitness center, squash facilities, croquet facilities, lawn bowling facilities and a fantastic spa named the Spa at Half moon; the facility offers a little bit of everything for everyone. The Half Moon Royal Villas, although located on a serene private bay, are not far away from must see sites on the island. The airport, Rose Hall Great House, Greenwood Great House, Doctor's Cave Beach and downtown Montego Bay are all within 10 miles of the hotel.
In addition to the amenities and location, the Half Moon Villa's ding & accommodations also exude luxury. With 6 fine dining restaurants and 7 bars, you are sure to find sumptuous dining anywhere you eat. The rooms are beautiful, well-appointed and offer great views. Luxury does come at a price. A stay at the villas will vary between $1,175 and $3,420 per night. Half Mon also offers non-villa suites and rooms ranging from $205 to $1650 per night depending on the season. Meal plans can be purchased for an additional fee.
