Relationships: My worst nightmare come true

I got up for work that morning, a young girl fresh out of high school. I was a small town cashier in a small convenient store in the old part of my town and the days ahead of me were filled with plans and mostly happiness. I had always heard from my grandmother that hind sight is always 20/20, and not until the end of that month did I know what she meant.

He had walked into my life with nothing but a smile, and a soda. He bought his items and before he left the store, I asked him if I head ever met him before. Before he left he had my phone number and said that he would call me and make plans to hang out. It all seemed innocent enough at the time, there were no loud bells going off that something was not right.

We got together later on, and things were all right. We went to my friends house one night for a party, something I had done many times before. She lived in a nice house, two stories and the rule was no one but family could go up to the second floor during a party. This way when us girls were ready to sleep we wouldn't be bothered. We had played games and after some drinking I decided it was time to turn in. I went upstairs and laid down in the bedroom that was almost as good as my own. I felt someone sitting down next to me, and I turned over. The room was dark, but the moon cast a glow through out the room, not extinguishing the shadows, but pressing them into the corners. There he was the guy from the store, the guy that had walked out with my phone number. He told me that he wanted to have sex with me, and I told him no. It was a very short conversation, but before he left a look crossed his eyes, one that made me sit up. He was very pissed off that I was turning him down. He told me very quietly that if I would not sleep with him, he would find someone else who would.

Needless to say, I being someone who can't hold her tongue especially when I am angry, told him to go for it, and explained very clearly where he could put his thing in the future. He left, and I didn't hear from him for many days. Then one afternoon the phone rings, and it's him, calling to say how sorry he was for what he had said, that he didn't mean it and would love to see me again.

Can anyone hear those bells now? I should have, but I didn't. I agreed to see him again, and so I drove to his house. We hung out that day, and I had invited a friend of mine over to watch movies or something. I decided to go and wash my car really fast, but by the time I got back, he
