ResearchSEA – Asia Research News has partnered with Helium to bring you the ResearchSEA – Asia Research News Citizen Journalism Awards. This is your opportunity to think like a journalist and report on global issues dealing with science, medicine, technology research, business and culture. Help raise awareness by writing a unique and compelling article.

About the contest

The assignment: Follow ResearchSEA’s article guidelines, research the featured topic and write a compelling article for your chance to win.

The awards: ResearchSEA will pick a winning article and two runner ups. The winning writer will receive a $75 Citizen Journalism Award and recognition on ResearchSEA’s website and social networking sites. The first runner up will receive $50 and the second runner up will receive $25.

  2. You may use material available from ResearchSEA’s website or other reputable sources.
  3. Please attribute all sources used.
  4. All articles submitted must be 1,000 words or less.
