The Common Language Project (CLP) has partnered with Helium to bring you the Common Language Project Citizen Journalism Awards, where you can write about local and international issues that are underreported in today’s mainstream media. One winning writer will receive professional editorial coaching and support from the CLP team!
About the awards
The assignment: CLP will feature new titles on Helium each month. Follow the article guidelines carefully and read the related coverage mentioned by CLP. Write a unique and compelling article for your chance to win.
The awards: CLP will pick one winner for each topic every month. Each winning article will be featured on CLP’s website and in its email newsletter, which reaches several distribution partners.
In addition, CLP will pick one grand prize winner each month to receive professional editorial coaching. Grand prize winners will learn how to expand their winning articles and will also receive coaching across different media, including print, multimedia, documentary and more.
