Great cleaning tips using vinegar

I use vinegar for almost all of my household cleaning! Vinegar is the perfect Eco-friendly cleaning product that you probably already have lying around your house.

Vinegar in the bathroom?

Yes you heard me, I use vinegar in the bathroom. Nothing cleans my bathroom mirror better then a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. While I am at it I spray down the bathroom sink and grab a bucket and pour a half cup of vinegar into a gallon of hot water. All of my cleaning is done with just one product! You really can't do that with most other commercial household cleaners.

Sparkling toilet time.

I like to put a cup of vinegar in my toilet boawl and let it sit overnight. I scrub in the morning then flush.

Litter box refresher!

I like to refresh my litter box once a week with vinegar. I dump the litter, rinse out the remnants in the pan then put about a half cup of vinegar in the bottom of the litter pan. I swish the vinegar around on the bottom of the litter pan, empty, give it a good wipe with a towel and voila...you now have a fresh litter box.

Coffee stains be gone!

I am a coffee addict and nothing bothers me more then a coffee stained coffee pot. I put one part vinegar and one part salt in the bottom of my coffee pot once a week, swish around and rinse. The coffee tastes better because all of the burnt coffee on the bottom of the coffee pot is gone.

Greasy oven door?

Spray your greasy oven door or toaster oven with full strength vinegar. Let the vinegar sit for fifteen to twenty minutes then clean it up with a scrub sponge.

Clean those counter tops!

Wipe your kitchen counter tops with a rag doused in full strength vinegar. You will disinfect and remove all of those unwanted odors from your counter tops.

Frugal furniture polish?

If you have vegetable oil and vinegar then you have a great furniture polish at your fingertips. Mix equal parts of each and apply with a washcloth sparingly.

Dream up new ideas!

You name it you can probably clean it with vinegar. Have fun and enjoy saving money on all of those over the top cleaning supplies.
