Our Mom's a "silver surfer",
She puts us all to shame.
Last year she got a new P.C.
Now she a hip, and cool old dame.

She sends her cards by Moonpig,
She emails recipes,
She keeps her pic's in a digital frame,
And surfs the web with ease.

We pop in to see her daily,
To do the best we can,
Don't worry about me she says,
As her shopping arrives by van.

We offer to give her a trip to town,
When we think she's had enough.
"Not me!" she answers stoutly,
as she unpacks her eBay stuff.

She chats to all her friends
And blogs her personal page,
She plays on line at bingo,
How she loves this modern age!

She fills out questionnaires.
Downloads music all the time.
She copies all the latest films,
(even though it is a crime).

Our Mom has taken to cyberspace,
Like a duck would take to water.
And if I complain, she simply says:
"You're behind the times my daughter!"
