and you didn't remember the page name, don't panic, just right click into empty space of tab bar and choose Undo Close Tab. Your "lost" tab is back.
On the top of that you can also see the list of all recently closed tabs by using History option on main menu.
Now, I often find interesting things on the Internet and sometimes forget to bookmark it so History option is just right feature.
But this is not the end. If your Firefox crashes for any reason, the application will remember all your tabs and retrieve them next time when you open Firefox again.
So no excuse that you can't remember where is that website you have seen last night but can't remember the name.
Navigation is simple, as it should be when it comes to Internet browsers. You don't really want to spend hours to master your new application (and I know that there is lots of people out there who use their computers only for Internet which is absolutely fine.) Developers know that fact so Firefox can be used by anyone regardless their computer knowledge.
With standard main menu on the top File-Edit-View-Go-Bookmarks-To ols-Help there is navigation menu beneath with back-forward- refresh-stop-home icons. And of course the address bar where you enter you web address. Simplicity is beauty when it comes to web browsers, because they are there and you can't live without them and you'll notice them if they don't work.
I believe that more and more users pay attention to additional features in their Web browsers and if you don't, from now you should really have, especially if your choice is Firefox.
Firefox has nice download manager embedded, pretty reliable and fast (of course if you have decent Internet speed). If you download process terminates for any reason, Firefox will try to re-launch it next time and will remember where download stopped. This comes very handy when you need to download huge files.
If you like RSS feeds and prefer to receive information this way, then Firefox has some nice innovations here for you. If you open some new RSS feed Firefox will show it in its window and offer the subscription option by using one of web services, Live Bookmark or external RSS reader applications. There are some default web services like Bloglines, My Yahoo or Google Reader, but at the moment you can't add your own. Apparently this feature will be available in new version 3.0.
If you are Internet forums addict (like many dooyoo-ers including me) Firefox has very useful spell checking system, which will go through
