Choosing a charity: Heart disease or lung disease

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the Mormons) is one of the fastest growing religions in the world. From the New York City to London, the church is everywhere. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is led by a prophet, along with twelve other apostles, who lead and guide their members down the path of righteousness. Below are some common questions and answers about the Mormon religion.

Do you believe in Jesus Christ?

Do Mormons believe in Christ? I don't understand why anyone would ask such a question. Is not the Mormon church named after Jesus Christ himself? It is the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints for goodness sakes. The members of the Mormon religion strictly believe in Christ, and teach about him more than almost any other religion in the world.

Do you believe in the Bible?

Yes. We as Latter-Day Saints firmly believe in the Bible; as long as it is translated correctly. What we mean, is that there are a few minor mistakes in the Bible, but we believe that the word is true.

What about the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is sort of like cherry on ice cream. It just makes everything fit. It finishes, and completes the Bible. We do not believe that the Book of Mormon is the only word of God, yet we believe that it is the word of God.

Following the basic guidelines of the Mormon's religion actually gives you time, not take it away. Studies show that on an average, Mormons live four to six years longer than the average American. This is because our religion is more strict than others on personal body behavior.

Why can't you drink coffee?

Coffee contains caffeine, which is classified by scientists as a phycoactive stimulant drug. Caffeine is a very addicting drug, yet is underestimated by most of the public. Below is a chart of studies done on spiders regarding other drugs and caffeine.

You can see that the spider who took in the caffeine had a very serious disorder. Even the spider on marijuana had a lighter effect than the spider on caffeine.
This is just one of the many reasons why we try not to take in any form of caffeine.

Is your religion different than the common Christian?

Somewhat different, yet mostly similar. The common Christian believes
