Locked

Darkness surrounds and I can not see
Shadowing memories are haunting me
Resounding echoes it is not clear
A voice long forgotten I am longing to hear
A key to the door time has kept tucked away
Seasons and cycles sin has led me astray
Wisdom speaks of Truth and no one abides
The light beyond shadows is where she hides
Many roads many choices seem endless indeed
Oh from this nightmare I yearn to be freed
An ancient day out of Egypt to a place of no rest
With fear in my heart mocking words keep to the test
The lust of the flesh in bondage to desire
I walk alone and find no help in this fire
If only I had listened and called out His Name
Resurrection he promised from guilt and from shame
My child, He whispered; do not be troubled neither blue
I Am your Father and this is all that is true:
"What remains in your mind this is the road that is blocked,
The door to the Kingdom, I assure you, has never been locked".
