Naturally reduce the pain of arthritis

How can I eat to avoid painful arthritis?

There are several things that you can include or avoid in your life to reduce the pain associated with arthritis. Among those you will want to include are these vitamins, minerals, herbs, proteins, and some every day foods. There are mechanical things that will help you reduce your pain too, look for my article here in Helium for that information.

ALMONDS and CHERRIES, these are reported to be pain relieving and inflammation reducing foods.

AVOCADO and SOY are both beneficial foods with anti-inflammatory effects. The phytosterols found in these two foods do not stop at just fighting inflammation; they also help with the repair of the joint cartilage. They smooth out the flat surfaces at the ends of the bones. Cushy smooth cartilage is what lines the meeting points between the bones of healthy joints, it is what keeps the joints moving smoothly.

GLUCOSAMINE and CHONDROITIN are two essential components of joint cartilage, they can be taken to help repair the joint surfaces. Alone they may not relieve pain but used in conjunction with these other powerhouse ingredients you will be amazed by your symptom reduction.
CAUTION: Glucosamine Chondroitin is made from shellfish so if you are allergic to shellfish this one should be avoided.

There is a fluid between our joint surfaces the joint, it is there to lubricate the joint allowing it to bend and straighten smoothly. An important component of this fluid is HYALURONIC ACID. This acid component stimulates your own cells to produce more lubricating joint fluid. This acid is sometimes injected into the joints by a prescribing physician at great financial cost. It is available in capsule from at your health food store.

Good old GELATIN DESSERT, that's right, the one that grandma always likes to make and eat. Gelatin is one of the cushioning components in our joints. Yes there is a reason that hospitals serve so much of this stuff, it's good for us, and happily it's cheap.

WILLOW BARK TEA or willow water. This is the world's original aspirin. Used by native cultures around the world for centuries to relieve pain and reduce inflammation. It was the inspiration for Mr. Bayer's first laboratory produced ASPIRIN.

The "non-vitamin" that you should always include is VITAMIN D3. Vitamin D3 is the most potent form of this little D powerhouse. I say non-vitamin because, unlike vitamins it is not an ordinarily ingested substance. In the human body it is usually made by our skin when we are exposed to the sun. Vitamin D3 has been shown to reduce the incidence of autoimmune diseases of which arthritis is one. There is an article of mine here in Helium about Vitamin D and D3 that goes into the other benefits of D3 in greater detail. D3 also helps to maintain the calcium in your bones, and it can assist in preventing cancers. You can take D3 orally or you can spend a few moments daily in the sun so that your body can make this substance for you.
